The Angels of Hope program is a great opportunity for young ladies entering their junior year of high school to work directly with the 20th Century Club’s Lodge patients and their caregivers and volunteer at other cancer related organizations. This program is designed to give young ladies an opportunity to grow in compassion, understanding, responsibility, and education while learning the importance of serving others in their community and cancer awareness.
Angels of Hope representatives are required to complete 25 hours of service by participating in planned activities. Any Angel completing 75 additional hours (for a total of 100 hours) is eligible to receive the distinguished “Service Above Self” Award presented at the Hope Ball. The highlight of the program is the final presentation of the Angels at the Hope Ball in their formal white gowns and opera length gloves at the Arkansas Statehouse Convention Center.
